We do not sell your shop data, train public AI models on your CAD files, or share your proprietary pricing with suppliers.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, configure your fabrication shop workspace, generate countertop quotes, or connect bridge saws, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, business name, work email address, phone number, billing address, and authorized team member credentials.
- Shop & Workflow Data: Digital countertop drawings, 2D dimensions, sink cutout templates, edge profile configurations (ogee, bullnose, miter), slab inventory dimensions, material costs, and CNC bridge saw specifications.
- Billing & Payment Data: Credit card and payment details processed directly through our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor (Stripe). StoneHub does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.
- Technical & Usage Telemetry: Log data, IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction metrics to optimize application speed, nesting performance, and error recovery.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes, including:
- Calculating automated slab nesting layouts, square-footage yields, and material cost summaries.
- Generating CNC machine-ready DXF files and PDF showroom quotes.
- Maintaining real-time slab and remnant rack inventory synchronization across your team.
- Providing software customer support, troubleshooting application features, and answering tickets.
- Enforcing account security, preventing unauthorized access, and maintaining 99.9% uptime.
3. Shop Data Ownership & Absolute Confidentiality
You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all customer quotes, drawing templates, slab inventory records, remnant dimensions, and DXF files uploaded or generated within StoneHub.
We will never sell, rent, monetize, or distribute your customer quotes, pricing matrices, or fabrication designs to stone distributors, competitors, or third-party advertisers.
4. Data Security & Encryption Standards
We implement enterprise-grade security protocols to protect your shop's proprietary data:
All traffic between your browser and StoneHub is encrypted via modern HTTPS/TLS 1.3.
Database records, slab images, and DXF files are encrypted with military-grade AES-256 encryption.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted enterprise cloud vendors solely to operate our software:
- Cloud Hosting & Database: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloudflare for low-latency, globally redundant infrastructure.
- Billing Processing: Stripe for secure, encrypted subscription payment processing.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to access, export, or permanently delete your fabrication workspace at any time. Upon account cancellation, you may request a complete export package of your customer quotes, remnant inventories, and DXF files.
